How much longer until she tells us we’re super embarrassing? 💏

This weekend we celebrated not only the birth of Eloise, but the birth of our little family. I think it’s hard for me to recount and analyze because it somehow feels like it’s always been this way, even though just one short year ago, our trio was a duo. So much has changed, but it also feels the same. We’re exhausted and nothing ever seems to get done around here, but there’s more love and laughter in our home than ever, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 💕

Our girl is THE messiest eater. So today, when she daintily licked the frosting from her birthday cake, eating it crumb by crumb, we were stunned. Where’s our messy kid? This cake should have been smashed! She did sit in it towards the end, though. 😂 🎂 🎉 💕

Our sweet baby girl is ONE YEAR old today! I am at a loss for words to describe just how incredible this past year has been, so allow Eloise to demonstrate the emotional roller coaster that is today. From left to right: “Yay, let’s celebrate this most amazing day!” 😃 > “HOW has this year gone by so quickly?!” 🤔 > “I’m sorry I’m crying I just have a lot of feelings about this.” 😭 It’s been an incredible year, one whole year of Eloise. Our rainbow baby, who we wished for and hoped for and is everything and more that we could have dreamed. She is so very, very loved. I can’t wait to see what the next year brings. Happy birthday to our smart, silly, sweet girl. 💕
